Air ambulance called after two-vehicle crash on A43 between Northampton and Kettering

The collision happened at about 1.40pm today (Tuesday) near to the Mawsley roundabout on the A43.

The air ambulance was called to the scene as well as police, fire and ambulance crews.

A spokesman for Northants Police said earlier that they had no details about the injuries, but advised drivers to avoid the area as far as possible.

The road was closed for about two hours while the scene was cleared.
