Youngsters from a Northampton stage school were among the stars of the show at a variety performance in the heart of London's theatreland.
More than 40 pupils of Chaplins Stage School, in St Michael's Road, The Mounts, took the stage at Her Majesty's Theatre for last weekend's show, involving young performers from around Britain.

They performed three numbers from Perfection – a show they put on earlier this year at Northampton's Royal & Derngate – and proved a hit with the London audience.

Teacher Suzi Claridge said: "It was absolutely fantastic. The children were brilliant and worked really hard to put on a great show.

"The organisers were so impressed they asked us to come back for another show next month, but unfortunately we won't be able to make it."
