Police recover body from River Nene

Police investigating the disappearance of a 73-year-old Northamptonshire man have recovered a body from the River Nene.
Pensioner Brian Winsworth went missing from his Islip home at the weekend.

The body was discovered in the river between Titchmarsh and Islip late yesterday evening and recovered during the night.

The formal identification of the body has not yet taken place.
