she should have gone to prison,or made her pay for all his treatment as well as the ban.
she is a sadistic uncaring hateful woman and i wish her all the pain and suffering that she put this lovely dog through.
how could she do this.

This is crazy - why didnt she get a custodial sentence. Once again I am appalled by the British Justice System regarding animal cruelty/abuse. This evil woman has walked away from court with no punishment whatsoever. It is an absolute disgrace! The dogs breed couldnt even be recognised it was in such a state. She should get a punishment to fit the crime and more!

I completely agree, this woman should be sent to prison for what she has done. If she is capable of inflicting this cruelty on to an animal who is to say she isn't capable of doing the same thing to another human being. People like this are no good to society and if she thought this was acceptable she needs some serious medical help!!

If she doesn't live to be 85, that is a life ban on keeping animals. What would stop the RSPCA starting a private prosecution for fraud if the statement that she tried to pass Hobo off as a stray in order to get free treatment? Get their money back, plus costs, plus compensation?

I disagree with incarcerating this woman. Inside of prison she would be cared for and after the initial reaction that would be the end of it. Left at home she is a virtual prisoner within herself, as every time she wishes to use her freedom she will face people who will remember, resent her and basically she is finished. Her reputation and image is out there and she will, I hope, experience a living hell. For the rest of her miserable days.

Well done Chron & Echo for putting this womans face on the news for everyone to see. I hope all her neighbours recognise her, all the people she deals with on a day to day basis recognise her and she lives the rest of her life feeling the total hatred that people have for her because of what she has done to this poor animal. Why she wasn't ordered to pay the costs of the treatment to make him better and for his care for the rest of his life I just don't understand. She is a disgrace!
