A man has appeared in court charged with the attempted rape of a woman in a Northampton park.
Ramesh Kandi, aged 33, and of no fixed abode, appeared in front of magistrates in Northampton on Thursday morning.
He was arrested following the alleged offence in Abington Park on Tuesday night.
Magistrates remanded Kandi in custody and sent the case to Northampton Crown Court, where it will be heard in September.
