Members of Northampton's gay community held a "minute's noise" in the town today to mark International Day Against Homophobia.
The event was held by the Northamptonshire Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Alliance outside The Guildhall.

NLGBA director Andrew Bewers said: "The minute's noise is to recognise the fact that in 87 countries around the world people cannot be open about their sexuality."
