Northamptonshire-based TalkSport presenter Jon Gaunt has landed a second book deal following the success of his autobiography.
A six-figure contract to write another two books was agreed after weeks of negotiations between Jon, Virgin and a second, rival, publishing company.

It comes on the back of the success of his autobiography entitled Undaunted – The True Story Behind The Popular Shock-Jock.

Mr Gaunt, who lives in Northamptonshire with his wife and two daughters and is also a columnist for The Sun, has sold 20,000 copies of the book which was released last October.

His second book, Gaunty's Best of British: It's Called Great Britain Not Rubbish Britain, is scheduled for release in September this year.

It will be followed by his third book One Man And His Gob: My Journey To The Right which will be in shops by June next year.

He said: "I feel I know pretty much all I need to know about presenting and I know I'm good at it. And I know I've come a long way with my Sun column. Writing books is new and exciting but from the success of Undaunted it seems the British public like what I write so I'm pleased I'll be able to write at least two more books."
