Fight to save historic hall

The director of a project to save Apethorpe Hall in Northamptonshire will be presenting a talk to the Towcester and District Local History Society.
Nick Hill, who is leading the English Heritage project to save the 500-year-old country house, will be giving a talk on its history and restoration on Wednesday, May 14 at 7.30pm at Riverside Centre in Islington Road, Towcester, and entry is £2 for non-members.
