Farmer died after falling down stairs

A farmer died, aged 96, following a fall down
stairs at his home, an inquest heard.
Donald Cooch was found by an employee at his house in Church Lane, Lower Harlestone, on August 24 last year having suffered from a head injury.

The inquest heard that Mr Cooch was sometimes unsteady on his feet due to a past skiing accident and walked with a stick but had otherwise been in good health until the fall.

The coroner record a verdict of accidental death.
