Dead cyclist named by police

The cyclist who was found collapsed next to his bike in Northamptonshire has been named by police.
The man was found unconcious on a road in Litchborough and subsequently died of his injuries on Friday May 9.

A police spokesman said: "Gerald Hurford, 71, from the Towcester area, was found in the road next to his bicycle at around 9pm.

"Road Policing officers are still appealing for anyone who may have seen Gerald in the Litchborough area on Friday evening to contact them to help establish what happened to him."
