A Northampton girl and her dog have proved they are light years ahead of the competition at Crufts.
Rosie Shepherd, 11, and her affenpinscher, Buzz, won the toy and utility cup for six to 11-year-olds at the world famous dog show.

Rosie, of Strelley Avenue, Wakes Meadow, had to get her four-year-old dog to stand still for the judges and walk in a triangle.

She said she was speechless at winning first prize.

She said: "We do a lot of training. Most days I'm at my grandmother's, training, or at Wellingborough Dog Club. But we have never won anything as big as Crufts before."
