Northamptonshire schoolgirl Faryl Smith has started work on a cover version of the classic Walking In the Air with fellow Britain's Got Talent finalist Andrew Johnston.
The pair, who both reached the final of ITV's Britain's got Talent, sang the song together on the stage tour of the show.

And they have been in the recording studio this week recording the song which will either be released as a single or will feature on Andrew's forthcoming album.

Faryl, 12, also goes into the recording studio in September to make her first album.

Although she has not signed a recording deal yet, she has made plans with Simon Cowell, the man behind the hit TV programme, to start recording her first CD.

There are also plans for her to appear on next year's series of the talent show which made her a household name to launch her album.

Faryl said: "I'm doing an album but it's not going to be released until next year.

"I have got a big break now – I am coming back home for a few months and I will be recording in September.

"They were talking about me going on next year's Britain's Got Talent as a guest and releasing my album then, so it's going to be quite a long time, but I think that's ok because I get a break."
