A 13-year-old Northampton boy has been charged with witness intimidation on a day in which police arrested five men and boys following a spate of burglaries.
The teenager was charged with witness intimidation following a previous report of a burglary in Northampton.

Two other boys aged 15 and 16, who were also arrested on suspicion of burglary and released on delayed charge bail, have both been re-arrested for obstructing police in an investigation. Both are currently in custody.

As part of this investigation a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is also in custody.

Officers have also arrested a 26-year-old Northampton man on suspicion of burglary, and he is currently being questioned at a police station in Northampton.

All five were arrested by officers from Northamptonshire West's dedicated burglary and robbery team, Operation Renegade, following a spate of burglaries in the eastern area of Northampton.

These days a certain minority of the yonger generation have no respect on what they do to make peoples lives a misery.

Surely at this young age they should realise what crime they have committed and how their parents will react when they find out what they have done.

Their parents probably wont do anything. That's the shame of it all.

They will learn if they go to jail/prison for a certain amount of time.
That's what the press should do instead of printing the youngsters name they should print the parents name and put them to shame as unfit parents.
