Biker suffers serious head injuries after car collision

A biker is in hospital with serious head injuries following a collision with a car in Northampton.
Police are appealing for information about the accident, which took place at about 2.40pm on Thursday in Harborough Road, Kingsthorpe.

A Silver Honda scooter and a blue Nissan Micra, both travelling in the same direction along Harborough Road, were in collision near the library.

The scooter rider, a 63-year-old man, was taken to Northampton General Hospital and later transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with a serious head injury.
