A lap dancing club in Northampton was due to re-open to the public last night after a fire at the weekend.
Firefighters were called to Urban Tiger, in the town centre, shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday and spent about an hour bringing the fire under control.

Incident commander, Ian Grant, said: "This was a small fire in the bar area.

"The cause is still under investigation and the bar itself has been damaged by fire, and there is smoke damage on the ground floor of the club."

Police and firefighters had to close one lane of Abington Square while the fire was brought under control.

No-one was hurt in the incident and the club was due to re-open to the public last night.
