local respondent,

I understand that the Police will not charge someone suspected of a crime if they do not have enough evidence. But 18 months for a house break-in and 34 other similar offences equates to almost two weeks for every crime ( 35 crimes for 18 months ) and as we know, the full term will not be served. In reality the crimes will probably not be solved otherwise, so in my opinion it's just a clear up opportunity for the crime statistics. If he admits them and wants to make a clean slate, give him an appropriate sentence for each crime as each one involves a victim.

I guess the good people of the area can rest a little easier knowing this cretin is inside, but what about his followers and cronies....
He has got what he wanted out of this!!! he has been branded aldi crew ringleader, this will fill his tiny pathetic head with all sorts of delusions of grandeur.
I truly hope that he has such a bad time in prison that it makes him think twice about rejoining his oh so loyal gang, but i cant see the hard times of gaol being a reality.
