Award for venue
Dodmoor House has been named as the best wedding venue in the East Midlands in the National Wedding Industry Awards.
The privately-owned venue near Weedon beat more than a dozen other venues in the region to claim the prestigious prize.
Dodmoor House now goes through to the national finals in January along with six other regional winners from across the country.
Dodmoor House owners Mark and Louise Bradley have publicly thanked the 138 couples who voted for the venue, which offers a stylish courtyard of Grade II listed barns in Dodford, to help secure the regional prize.
Mr Bradley said: “We are extremely touched that more than two-thirds of the couples who have held their wedding celebrations at Dodmoor House in the past two years went out of their way to vote for us.
“We also want to pay tribute to our fantastic team of staff, who are as committed as we are to offering great customer service.
“They genuinely care about ensuring that every bride and groom have the best day of their lives.
Dodmoor House won the best wedding venue category in the Midlands section of the national wedding awards when they were last organised in 2008, but lost out to historic Burghley House in Lincolnshire in the national final.
