Northampton to welcome the UK's FIRST EVER touring film and food festival this summer

A brand new touring film and food festival will be stopping in Northampton this September to bring four days of scrumptious street food, open-air cinema and comedy performances.
Outdoor cinema company, Adventure Cinema, has announced the 'Film & Food Fest' - a brand new touring festival to launch on June 17. It will be visiting 15 locations across the UK and will be coming to Northampton at The Racecourse from September 16 - 19.

Hide AdThe socially spacious festival will feature four days of outdoor cinema with classic movies and recent releases, stand up comedy from some of the UK's best-loved comedians, local street food and specially-curated short films from regional film makers in each location.
It promises to be the ultimate stay-cation with adult ticket prices starting from £16.50 (excluding booking fee). Children ages 12-years-old and under can go to afternoon showings for half-price.
Each Thursday evening of Film & Food Fest will feature a special showcase of short movies from some of the UK's finest independent filmmakers. The showcase will highlight the work of local creatives, offering audiences an exclusive change to see some fantastic new cinema. Tickets start at £6 and £2 from every ticket sold will be used to support local film organisations in Northampton.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be reserved for family films with classics like The Lion King and The Goonies along with modern favourites like The Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long, Onward and Dolittle.

Hide AdVisitors can expect to see mouthwatering food from Northamptonshire traders, curated by Street Food Warehouse. There will be gourmet burgers, bruschetta, crepes, caramel ice-cream plus many more scrumptious treats along with a dedicated bar serving great beers and bespoke cocktails. Gates will open up to three hours before each film starts to ensure guests have plenty of time to tuck in!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings will feature live comedy from a line-up of some of the UK's most popular comedians, followed by blockbuster movies. There will be a varied mix of films on offer - including favourites such as Grease, Dirty Dancing and some of 2020's finest like Joker, JoJo Rabbit and The Invisible Man.
