Gordon Chiverton plotted his way to victory in the Boxing Day tournament at Cold Ashby as he carded a winning score of 34 points.
In a competition when bonus points are available for hitting the fairway, hitting the green and holing out first, Chiverton got his tactics spot on as he finished a couple clear of the pack.
Dougie Stewart's strategy also came up trumps as he picked up the runners-up prize on countback from Derek Bott.
