Duston Knights had to hold off a late fightback from Billing United before claiming victory.
Alexandra Bartlett and Charlotte Coleman scored a goal in each half to give the Knights what looked like a comfortable 2-0 lead.
But Billing refused to throw in the towel, and a goal from Becky Birch made it 2-1 and raised the spirits of her side.
The villagers pushed for a leveller, but the Knights held on for the win.
