Arsene Wenger says he sees young £5m signing Aaron Ramsey as a future central midfield player.
The 17-year-old has impressed so far in pre-season and during Saturday's friendly win over Barnet.

Gunners boss Wenger believes Ramsey is one of a number of young players at the Emirates who can force their way into his Premier League plans in the coming season.

And Wenger admitted: "I have been pleased with him so far and he is in my plans. Like everyone, it will depend on his performances and his quality.

"I think in the future he will be a central midfielder.

"Now it is down to him and down to us on how well we work with him.

"But in my view there are no restrictions on his development, because he has played a lot already."
