Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric helped Croatia to a 3-0 victory in their World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan.
Modric, who switched to White Hart Lane in the summer after an outstanding Euro 2008 with his country, netted in the 35th minute to put Croatia 2-0 ahead.

And Mladen Petric made sure of an early Croatia success in their group opener with a third goal 11 minutes from time.
