Cardiff City bid to take the FA Cup out of England for only the second time in its history tomorrow, and I'm backing them to do it.
Most bookmakers make the Championship side massive 4/1 shots to beat Portsmouth and that's a price which simply can't be ignored.

On their day, Cardiff are one of the best sides in the Championship and certainly have some of the best players in th
e division with the likes of Joe Ledley, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Stephen McPhail and Peter Whittingham.

Pompey may have been distracted by the Cup final shenanigans but that's still no excuse for some of their dreadful recent results.

On Saturday they lost at home to a fired-up but very limited Fulham, a result which was their fourth league defeat on the spin.

Cardiff, on the other hand, finished with a 3-0 romp over Barnsley, and a week earlier than Portsmouth too.

If you've got some money to desperately want to lose, you can back the Cup winner to win the UEFA Cup next year at 125/1 with par
tybets.com.

Hull to join Baggies and Stoke
FOOTBALL: Hull City are expected to join West Brom and Stoke City in the Premier League next season after thrashing Watford 4-1 (6-1 agg) on Wednesday night.

Phil Brown's men are now 4/6 favourites to beat Bristol City in the play-off final at Wembley and win promotion. City are 11/10, while Sky Bet's 90-minute markets go 5/4 Hull, 7/4 Bristol City and 9/4 the draw.

United set for hat-trick of titles
FOOTBALL: Manchester United are just 11/10 with Paddy Power to win the Premier League title for a third successive season next year.

United sealed this year's crown thanks to a 2-0 win at Wigan last Sunday and I'm backing Fergie's men to make it a hat-trick next term.

It's hard to imagine how Cristiano Ronaldo will better his efforts from this season, but if the winger is in top form again, the title is United's.

Carlos Tevez has settled in brilliantly at Old Trafford, building up a good partnership with Wayne Rooney up front.

At the back, the centre-half pairing of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand is the best in the top flight.

Chelsea are 5/2 to exact revenge, but they have plenty of problems in the horizon, including the future of unsettled striker Didier Drogba. Arsenal are 11/2, with Liverpool 15/2.

Anderson the top bowler
CRICKET: James Anderson is a good bet to finish at England's top wicket-taker in their series with New Zealand.

Anderson is coming into good form and Ladbrokes' offer of 7/1 should attract plenty of interest.

England are 9/4 to win the series 2-0, while William Hill go 15/8 on the first Test ending in a draw.

England to win in New Zealand
RUGBY UNION: With England announcing their squad to tour New Zealand, VC Bet have priced them at 4/1 to win at least one of the two Tests in Auckland and Christchurch next month.

The firm also go 3/1 that New Zealand manage to score a combined total of 100 points or more against them in the two matches.
