Beckham on target in Galaxy defeat
Former Manchester United star David Beckham netted his fifth Major League Soccer goal of the season but Los Angeles Galaxy lost 2-1 lost to New England Revolution last night.
The ex-England captain's shot from the edge of the box was deflected home but was only a consolation after Adam Cristman scored twice for New England.
Despite the defeat, Los Angeles remain top of the Western Conference with six wins and three draws from 15 games keeping them one point ahead of Real Salt Lake and Houston Dynamo.
