BIRDWATCHING for children organised by the RSPB takes place tomorrow at Fineshade Woods.
The event is aimed at getting youngsters interested in wildlife with a child-friendly introduction to birds.

They can learn about their feathered friends and then go into the woods to find them.

It takes place from 10.30am until midday at Top Lodge, Fineshade Woods.

The session is for seven to 16-year-olds at a cost of £2 per child, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is essential and can be done by calling the RSPB on 01780 444691.

Participants should meet at the Little Barn and should wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

Top Lodge is halfway between Corby and Stamford. It is signposted from the A43, on the opposite side of the road to Wakerley Wood.
