Will completes Navy phase
Northampton man Will Barrowclough, Sub Lt in Royal Navy.
A FORMER Northampton School for Boys pupil has completed the first phase of his officer training at Britannia Royal Naval College, in Dartmouth.
Sub Lt Will Barrowclough, aged 23, joined the Royal Navy in May 2011 and wants to serve as a warfare officer.
As part of his training, he spent 10 weeks at sea in an amphibious assault ship, and was involved in a leadership project in Sierra Leone.
He said: “The Royal Navy has already given me some fantastic opportunities and I am looking forward to a variety of challenges that I will face throughout my career”.
History graduate Sub Lt Barrowclough previously worked as a climbing instructor at the Pinnacle Climbing Centre, in Far Cotton, Northampton.
