PUPILS at a Northamptonshire school have celebrated Thanksgiving Day with the help of a transatlantic member of staff.
Youngsters at Bliss Charity School, in Nether Heyford, celebrated Thanksgiving Day on Thursday by tucking into pumpkin pie alongside an exchange teacher from the USA.
American Fullbright exchange teacher, Sallie Hunter, who has been transferred to Northamptonshire from Maine, in America, helped pupils mark the American public holiday and learn more about American culture.
The Fulbright Program is a flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the US government to increase understanding between people in the United States and abroad.
Sallie is due to be in the UK for a year before returning to Maine.
