Authors unveil new learning centre
The official opening of a new school library at Towcester CE Primary School, by writers Steve Skidmore and Steve Barlow, who also spent the day at the school storytelling.
TWO children’s authors have unveiled a new learning resource centre at Towcester CE Primary School.
Collaborative writers Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore, who have written more than 70 books under the name The Two Steves, cut a blue ribbon and unveiled a plaque to the facility in front of parents, staff and pupils.
Staff transformed an empty classroom into a library and ICT unit with tape decks for children to listen to audio books.
Head Richard Camp said: “It was great to have the authors at the school to celebrate our new learning resource centre and the children love using it. We’re extending the opening hours.”
