Forest have made 'about six offers' for keeper Bunn
Mark Bunn will cost any interested club £1 million, Cobblers chairman David Cardoza has said.
The Town chairman has revealed Nottingham Forest have made 'about six' offers for Bunn, including one in the January transfer window that wasn't far off the club's valuation of the player.
Cardoza stressed that he expects the 23-year-old to be at Sixfields next season, and for that situation to alter a substantial amount of money would have to change hands.
"I haven't heard anything from them (Forest) yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they did give me a call," he said. "We've had about six bids for the player from them already.
"Mark is a terrific player and we've got an idea of a fee we would like for him – we won't be budging from that.
"It would be fair to say we would be looking for a deal that would eventually reach that mark (£1m).
"We hope Mark will still be here next season. We're not in the market to sell him, but if the right offer came in we'd have to listen to it.
"There have been lots of clubs named in rumours but the only firm offers we've had are from Forest and back in January their bids reached a pretty reasonable fee but it's not what we're after."
