I believe that most of us feel that, overall, Mrs Thatcher did significant harm to the fabric of this nation. She destroyed much of our manufacturing base, squandered North Sea oil money on keeping the UK unemployed, sold off publicly owned assets which were not hers to sell and encouraged a greed, me first and last culture.
