Guinan and Harris score as Cobblers win

Steve Guinan and Sebastian Harris scored the goals as Northampton Town won 2-0 at Stamford this evening.
The home side were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half when Dan Cotton was sent off for a two-footed lunge at Michael Jacobs.

Billy McKay set up strike partner Steve Guinan to head powerfully past Chris Wright.

Andy Holt headed home five minutes before the break but the goal was disallowed for a push.

Trialist Harris added the second when he latched on to a long clearance from Chris Dunn to lob the ball over the advancing keeper.
