Dracula – The Panto
The Abbey Centre, East Hunsbury, Northampton.
Thursday, November 29 until Saturday, December 1.
Dracula – The Panto sees the combination of traditional characters such as the Dame, the Fairy Queen and the two young lovers meeting Dracula, his brides and Boris the Werewolf. The show also features guest appearances from the comedy duo Steak and Kidney.

Beauty and the Beast
The Castle, Wellingborough

This year's Christmas show specially commissioned for The Castle is a feast of song, colour and slapstick directed by the venue's new artistic director Karl Wallace, with Stephen Brown as musical director.
Oliver Hume plays Monsieur Affable, with Vanessa Havell as Madame Gabrielle, Jemma Harris as Mademoiselle Michelle, Lauren Adams as Mademoiselle Suzanne and Ben Sleep as dogsbody Barbot.
There are two daytime performances on most days, and evening shows on December 14 and 21.

Based on the classic tale by Dodie Smith, the Royal's production sees Georgina Roberts starring as everyone's favourite villain, Cruella De Vil and is sure to delight both children and adults.

Raunds Music and Drama Society has ditched its usual panto in February in favour of this hilarious festive farce from the Farndale Avenue series of comedies. With Dawn Lightfoot as director and Hughie James as musical director, there is a cast of just five, with Gale Gilbert as Mercedes, Heidi Blakemore as Felicity, Maria Sanders as Scrooge and Brian Watts as Gordon the stage manager.

Aladdin

After the success of last year's record breaking production of Cinderella, Coronation Street star Bradley Walsh returns to Milton Keynes in this year's panto, Aladdin. The show also features ex-Coronation Street star and panto veteran Eric Potts as Widow Twankee, finalist in the TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? Eloise Irving as the Princess and Michael Quinn from ITV's Grease Is The Word as Aladdin.

Peter Pan

This year's panto looks set to smash all the theatre's box office records with JM Barrie's classic tale of the mischievous Peter Pan flying onto the stage this Christmas. The show stars David Essex as Captain Hook and ex-EastEnders star Sophie Lawrence as Peter Pan, as well as last year's panto favourite Fogwell Flax as Smee.

Corby Amateur Theatrical Society returns this year with a traditional pantomime, Aladdin. Claire Edwards will play the role of Aladdin, with Richard Walker Glen as Widow Twanky, Joe McMahon as Wishy Washy and Andy Hall as the Genie.
The script has been written by Richard Walker Glen, director and choreographer is Caroline Young, junior choreography is by Anita Walker Glen and Peter Morgan will be musical director.

Aladdin

Bozeat Players celebrates its 21st panto production with an updated version of Aladdin, last performed by the group 15 years ago.
James Day directs and also plays Dame Widow Twanky, with Sam Burgess and Roxanne Kennaird sharing the choreography. The cast of 25 is headed by Emma Burrows as Aladdin, John Burgess as Abanazer, Glenn Mansfield as The Genie and Jo-Jo Coles as Wishee-Washee. The comedy duo Pepsi and Cola are played by Barbara Deviny and Karen Ryan.

Jack and The Beanstalk

Rushden Amateur Theatrical Society presents another panto favourite with a cast of 30, including chorus and dancers. Carole Murton directs, with Vanessa Charles as choreographer and Rod Iliffe as musical director.
Ruth Wood plays Jack Churn, with Rosie Mabb as Simon Churn and Holly Taylor as Fairy Broad Bean. Ursula Hanzlik is Virginia Creeper and David Edgeworth is Giant Hugh Mungus.
There is no Tuesday show but performances are 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, 7.15pm for the rest of the run, plus a 2.15pm matinee on the last day.

Wellingborough Pantomime Society ends its 40th anniversary year with this traditional tale, directed by Sue Bailey, with Gaynor Smith as choreographer and Kath Green as musical director.
The title role is taken by Jenny McMahon, with Debbie Jennings as Alice Fitzwarren and David Wicks as Dame Sarah the Book. Clare Patrick and Scott Harberd play the Fairy and King Rat, with John Baish as Silly Billy and Nick Gough and Sean McMahon as the two sailors.
Performances are 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.

This year's offering from Oundle Amateur Theatrical Society is directed by Dawn Wiggins, with Keith Hannis as musical director. Tracey Brittle returns to Oundle to take on the title role.
There will be flying carpets, monsters under the sea and a spooky scene lit in ultra violet.
Performances are 7.30pm from Wednesday to Friday and 5pm and 8pm on Saturday.

Trouble in Pantoland

This year Irchester Players have chosen something a little different with this tale featuring a host of favourite characters from different pantos.
The 40-strong cast is directed by Ian Southon, with Lianne Black as choreographer and Dinah Stephenson as musical director.
It stars Ann Chambers as the Wicked Queen, Ian Draisey as the Wizard and Dan Wainwright as Dame Widow Twankey, with Richard Audry as Prince William (who is turned into a frog!).

Pinocchio
Masque Theatre, Barton Seagrave
Tuesday to Saturday, February 19 to 23
Kettering United Theatre Group returns to the Masque to present this children's favourite about a puppet who dreams of being a boy. The bumper cast of 50 eight to 18-year-olds is again directed and choreographed by Marilyn Knight, with Claire Lewis as musical director.
The title role is played by Megan Linnell, with Amber Hockridge as Gepetto and prize-winning young singer Faryl Smith as Gianetta.
Sisters Bethany and Sheena Hamilton plays Charlie Cricket and Mama Macaroni, with Rebecca Watson-Wynn as the Fairy.
